NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 15.32 crore), IDFC First Bank(number of shares traded: 6.73 crore), Vikas Multicorp(number of shares traded: 4.04 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 3.16 crore), NBCC (number of shares traded: 2.82 crore), Wipro(number of shares traded: 2.55 crore), Tata Steel(number of shares traded: 2.47 crore), Ujjivan SFB(number of shares traded: 2.16 crore), Easy Trip Planners(number of shares traded: 2.12 crore) and GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 2.01 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:50AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 2.96 points up at 23440.15, while BSE Sensex was up 66.01 points at 77110.3 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.60 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.31 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.20 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.02 per cent) and Eternal Ltd.(up 0.87 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Wipro Ltd.(down 5.46 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 2.70 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 2.47 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.82 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(down 1.68 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
