Actor Sikandar Kher, known for his roles in Aarya and Citadel: Honey Bunny, recently appeared on Maniesh Paul’s podcast, where he shared insights into his long-standing friendship with Abhishek Bachchan. The conversation delved into their bond, which dates back to their childhood.

When asked by Maniesh if the two had ever spoken openly about their friendship, Sikandar reflected on their long association, saying, “We have known each other for a very long time and have spent a lot of time together. We used to go on long drives. My relationship with the Bachchan family dates back to my father (Gautam Berry). My father, Mr. Bachchan, and Bunty Bachchan were involved in business together, and from there, Abhishek and I formed a bond.”

Despite their age difference, their friendship strengthened over time, especially when Abhishek would return home during school vacations. “He would come home for holidays from school, and I was also on vacation at the same time. We would hang out, watch television, and just spend time together,” Sikandar recalled.

He also spoke about Abhishek’s nature, describing him as a warm and generous person. “Abhishek is incredibly generous and a very loving human being. It’s not just me saying this—you can ask anyone, and they will tell you how warm he is,” he added.

Apart from their off-screen camaraderie, Sikandar Kher and Abhishek Bachchan have worked together in multiple films, including Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey (2010), Game (2011), and Players (2012). Their on-screen collaborations have further strengthened their friendship over the years.
