Electronic music fans can now discover club nights in their city through a new app, Dancefloor.
Available now on iPhones and Android devices, the app aims to provide “the best place to discover DJs and club nights in your city.” With three major sections on its platform, Dancefloor displays to users nearby events, DJs in their area and venues that regularly host branded club nights.
Users can view each venue’s calendar of events and purchase tickets in-app. There’s also a social media aspect of Dancefloor in which fans can follow artists for posts, YouTube uploads and upcoming shows.
In addition to helping concertgoers discover club nights, Dancefloor’s developers have shared information on their website about how artists and promoters can utilize the platform. Artists can launch fan sites, newsletters and posts directed at their followers, and they can also access analytics on their shared content and broadcast links to events.
On the promoter side of things, the developers promise no booking fees on their first three events and “some of the lowest booking fees in the industry.” They can also implement loyalty programs from within the app and customize event pages with trailers, image galleries and more.
