BJP MLA from Shalimar Bagh Rekha Gupta, who was sworn in as Delhi’s fourth woman Chief Minister and the second woman Chief Minister by the BJP, was asked about her take on assuming the top post by India Today News Director Rahul Kanwal at the India Today Conclave 2025.
When asked by Rahul Kanwal if she had hit the “lottery” after getting the top post in the national capital, Rekha Gupta said she felt like ‘naayika’ from the Bollywood movie ‘Nayak’.
