Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana performed at the opening night of the Women’s Premier League 2025 in Vadodara on February 14, and his electrifying performance left the entire stadium on its feet as he dedicated Maa Tujhe Salaam to the spirit of India and woman power!

Ayushmann held the tricolour close to his heart, running across the cricket stadium while singing the cult AR Rahman song, igniting an infectious spirit of patriotism amongst the audience. His electrifying song and dance act also included his chartbusting numbers – ‘Pani Da Rang’ and ‘Saadi Galli Aaja’ as well as his big dance number – ‘Jehda Nasha’! His bhangra moves combined with his melodious voice got the stadium pumping with energy on WPL’s opening night. Here’s a glimpse of his entire performance.
Meanwhile, the actor also posted about his performance on his official Instagram page wherein he captioned a video saying, “Cricket & Me… Talking #TATAWPL, love for cricket & more with Ayushmann Khurrana!”
On the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana is gearing up for the release of Thama which is expected to be a part of Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films’ horror comedy universe which also includes Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya franchises. Directed by Amar Kaushik and starring alongside popular actress Rashmika Mandanna, the film is expected to feature based on the folktales about vampires in Vijaynagar. Apart from this, we hear that the actor has a few other unannounced projects in the pipeline.
