Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Keynote Financial(up 16.94%), Pavna Industries(up 15.61%) and VRL Logistics(up 15.60%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 314.97 points down at 77956.31, while the 50-share index, NSE was 91.8 points down at 23604.5.

In the Nifty50 index, 18 stocks traded in the green, while 32 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Senores Pharmaceutic, KRN Heat Exchanger, United Credit, Aarti Pharmalabs and Benares Hotels hit their fresh 52-week high, while Southern Magnesium, RR Financial, Vineet Laboratories, Vivanza Biosciences and Titan Intech touched their new 52-week low during the session.
