Ola Electric has opened bookings for its new motorcycle and unveiled its third-generation scooter. The new product blitzkrieg follows a trail of mishaps and performance issues around its vehicles.
Things weren’t supposed to be like this. For Ola Electric, the original plan was to churn out 833,333 scooters a month by now – belting out 10 million units a year from its huge Future Factory in Pochampalli in Krishnagiri, a district in Tamil Nadu a couple of hours drive from Bengaluru.
