Mysuru’s former BJP MP, Pratap Simha, has once again raised an objection against a gumbaz-like structure with green light that was erected on Sayyaji Rao Road in the city ahead of the Dusshera festival.

The former MP raised his concerns on social media and requested the officials to remove the structure.

“I have asked to change this one on Sayaji Rao Road,” read the caption along with the photo of the structure on his X, which roughly translates to English from Kannada.

This is not the first time, as last year a dome-like was constructed on a bustop in Mysuru during Dussehra festivities. However, it later disappeared.

A controversial dome perched on a bus stop at Mysuru in Karnataka disappeared overnight. Simha had pointed out that the two domes that flanked the main dome made on the bus stand, appeared like a mosque and set a deadline for action in the matter.
