Earlier this year, Bhumi Pednekar announced her maiden web-series Daldal in which she will be essaying the role of a cop. A few months ago, the actress had shared her experience of shooting for the same and now on Monday, she has asserted that she has completed the schedule of the Prime Video series. She took to social media to share the news and also reflected on her journey during the show.

Bhumi Pednekar took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the year-long journey, describing the role of ACP Rita Ferreira as one of her most challenging to date. “Hands down one of my most complex characters” Bhumi wrote in her post, adding “Had the opportunity to work with such sublime actors and creators on the show.”
The actress also highlighted the physical and emotional hurdles the team faced while filming. Despite these challenges, Bhumi praised the crew’s resilience, writing, “We braved the mumbai monsoons, shot in the toughest conditions and yet our spirits could never be dampened. Kudos to us all.” Further, she went on to appreciate the members of the team saying, “Thank you Vikram for constantly bringing me parts that challenge me & for constantly believing in me. Our third one together – Abundantia Entertainment. Suresh Triveni, I just love you. This was that rare connect where I was like let’s free fall. You are a genius ST And my dearest Amrita Guptaa just so kind and sorted as a maker. Thank you for handholding me through Rita. Bahut amazing kaam karenge saath (we will do some amazing work together) And the entire team of Prime Video. Nikhil Madhok you’ve championed this through. The enthusiasm that the team has, has kept us going”.
Her emotional post has heightened fans’ anticipation for Daldal, a series that promises to showcase her in a complex and intense role. Featuring an ensemble cast, Daldal is expected to revolve around the strong-headed DCP as she embarks on an investigation that puts her on a collision course with Anita, a cold-blooded killer, even as she has to save her life from falling apart due to her haunted past.
