Season two of Solo Leveling has been confirmed for release in January 2025 and a new trailer has dropped – check it out below.

The anime’s first season Re-Awakening debuted in Japan and the UK earlier this year.

A synopsis for the show read: “Low-ranked hunter Jinwoo Sung is known as the weakest hunter of all mankind. One day, Jinwoo gets fatally injured when he runs into high-rank double dungeons hidden within a low-rank dungeon.

“Just then, a mysterious quest window appears in front of him. On the verge of death, Jinwoo decides to accept the quest and starts leveling up… while the others aren’t.”

The first two episodes of Solo Leveling Season 2 – Arise from the Shadow are set to air in cinemas alongside a compilation of the first series in Japan on November 29. No UK date for a cinema release has yet been set.

It will be streamed on Crunchyroll next January.

It comes after the trailer for the new Attack On Titan film Attack On Titan The Movie: The Last Attack recently dropped, which is made up of the show’s two final chapters from the concluding season.

Adapted from the manga by Hajime Isayama, the series is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has retreated into a fortified city to escape giant, man-eating Titans.

The new movie is set to debut in Japan on November 8. No release date in the US or UK has yet been set.

Since its inception the show has spawned a stage musical adaptation which premiered in Japan in 2022.
