Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Sunday unveiled the prototype of the much-anticipated Vande Bharat sleeper coach at BEML’s facility in Bengaluru. The coach will undergo a rigorous 10-day trial period before hitting the track for further testing.

“After Vande Bharat chair cars, we worked on Vande Bharat sleeper cars. Its manufacturing has now been completed. This train will go out for the trial and testing from the BEML facility today,” Vaishnaw said.
