Hiranandani posted a short video clip from the Indian sign language screening of Srikanth on Instagram and wrote, “This makes us so happy thank You dil se Secretary Shri Rajesh Aggarwal ji from the Ministry of Empowerment of person with Disabilities.Miniistry of social justice and empowerment. Goverment of India. For making Srikanth accessible to everyone…”

Soon after the post was shared, a fan wrote, “Congratulations Tushar sir. This film is a testament to your genius and vision” and another fan commented, “Kya baat hai! This is really special. Congrats bro.”

The official news of the development was made by the filmmaker in a special post that was shared. The post disclosed that a special screening of the Rajkummar Rao film was being organized by T-Series Films, Chalk N Cheese Films, and the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.

Srikanth, directed by Tushar Hiranandani, is based on the life of industrialist Srikant Bolla, who is blind. It tells the story of his inspirational journey as he bravely pursued his dreams despite overwhelming obstacles, eventually founding Bollant Industries. The movie is now available for streaming on Netflix. Rajkummar Rao played the titular role in the film and he received accolades for his performance.

Rajkummar is currently enjoying the enormous success of his latest release Stree 2 with Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana.
