NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 885.6 points down at 80981.95 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Supershakti Metaliks(down 15.69 per cent), Suryalata Spin(down 14.85 per cent), Diggi Multitrade(down 13.45 per cent), Alliance Int.(down 11.14 per cent) and Celebrity Fash(down 10.43 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 9 stocks closed in the green, while 41 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 293.21 points down at 24717.7.
On the BSE, SecUR Credentials, Vegetable Products, Inditrade Capital, Vivanza Biosciences and Nakoda Group Of Ind(PP)hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Neuland Labs, SJS Enterprises, Platinum Industries, Rasandik Ebgg and Zomato touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
