The Anand Tiwari directed Bad Newz has seen a growth of 25% on the 2nd day with early estimates in the range of Rs. 10.50 crores to 10.70 crores. The Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk starrer needs to show big gains on Sunday to cross the Rs. 30 cr. mark in the opening weekend.
The two-day total of Bad Newz stands at Rs. 19.20 crores and the film is now aiming to clock Rs. 30 crores in the opening weekend. Post the two day run, it will boil down to the crucial Monday test for the film.
The growth seems to be rather lower than expected because Bad Newz overperformed on the opening day due to the terrific buzz created by the song, Tauba Tauba. All eyes are now on the trend of Bad Newz on Sunday and Monday.
