BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda has been moved from helming the party’s organisational structure to the Modi 3.0 ministry. The BJP fought the 2024 polls under Nadda’s leadership, who was the party’s 11th President.
Nadda took the oath of office as a minister on Friday after ministers Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah.
Going by the BJP’s policy of ‘one person, one post’, the party will get a new president soon.
Nadda took over as the BJP president from Amit Shah, who joined the Modi Cabinet as the Home Minister in May 2019.
The BJP contested both the 2014 and 2019 successfully under Amit Shah’s leadership.
