While the Rohit Shetty directorial will mark the return of Ajay Devgn as the no-nonsense cop Bajirao Singham, it will also see Kareena reprise the role of Avni nee. Avni Bajirao Singham in this triquel. Interestingly, this is the actress’ second franchise with Devgn after Shetty’s Golmaal series and the actor couldn’t be more excited about it. In fact, recently he was all praises for the Kapoor girl as he opened up about reuniting with her onscreen.

It is a known fact that Ajay Devgn is quite excited about Singham Again which is in the pipeline for release this year. Speaking about reuniting with co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan for the same, Devgn recalled how the actress has been a part of some of the biggest films in his career. He said, “Kareena has been a part of some very important films in my career like Omkara (2006) and the Golmaal (Returns; 2008) and Singham (Returns; 2014) franchises,” he says. “What I have grown to like about her is her focus as an actor and her single-mindedness as a superstar. On the set, she is vivacious and friendly. Once the camera switches on, she is a different animal; she wears blinkers. Filmmakers favour us because we are a good box-office bet. The good thing about Bebo is that she hasn’t changed, she is still the life of the party,” he added.

About Singham Again

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Singham Again is the third film in the Singham franchise and the fifth film of the ambitious copverse. The film is also expected to introduce key characters of this action universe like Lady Singham and ACP Satya played by Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff who will have extensive cameos in the action entertainer along with Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh. With Arjun Kapoor taking on the role of an antagonist for the first time in a Rohit Shetty film, it is slated to release during Diwali this year.
